Space-saving through underground utilization! Decomposition of organic solids allows for waste volume reduction!
The main feature of the "Kekomu Biogas Plant" is that all the methane fermentation tanks, which are the core of the biogas plant, are installed underground.
The installation method involves using a specialized machine to rotate and press steel pipes with a diameter of φ2000mm to 5000mm (standard is φ3000mm) into the ground, excavating the soil inside for installation. Once excavated to the specified depth, concrete is poured at the bottom to form a base, and after welding the bottom plate, internal structures are attached to complete the methane fermentation tank.
Since the methane fermentation tank can be installed underground where the temperature remains constant throughout the seasons, temperature management, which is a crucial factor in methane fermentation, is made easier. Additionally, there are no structures above ground for the methane fermentation tank, allowing for effective use of the above-ground space.
